Pattern making for beginners
This course is
based on traditional European techniques presented in a modern format. You
will learn how to draft basic, well-fitting patterns to your own measurements.
It is ideal for people wanting to create original designs for themselves or
others.
To enrol in any of the pattern making classes you must be able to sew and you must have access to a sewing machine as no sewing is done in the class.
Classes are run on a
6-week cycle and you can work at your own pace. Once you have a place in the
class you can attend for as long as you like. If you wish to continue, payment
will be due every 6 weeks. Classes
are small to ensure personalised attention. Please see ‘Our Policies’ below for

Morning class: Wednesday 10am - 12noon
OR
Evening class: Wednesday 6.30pm-8.30pm
Cost: $240 in advance for 6 weeks.
Venue: Yarralumla
Students will be required to purchase paper and drafting rulers. These are available from The Fashion School.

Our Policies:
- Full payment must be received before class commencement.
- It is your responsibility to attend each class: we do not offer ‘make up’ classes, refund or credit
- The minimum age for class participants is 16 years.
- If a class is cancelled by us, a full refund
will be given.
