Sewing for Beginners
If you’ve never sewn a stitch, this
class is for you!
In this class you will fit and sew
a pull-on skirt with an elastic waist. Sewing machines
are provided and classes are small to ensure personalised
attention. You will not need to bring anything with
you the first week, as you will receive a sewing kit
in a nylon tote bag, which is included in the cost,
and contains everything you need to start sewing!
You will learn:

to navigate your way around a sewing
machine;

how to use different sewing machine
feet;

different stitches and when to
use them;

how to identify different fabrics;

to lay out and cut a pattern;

pattern and sewing terms; and
-
how to mark and sew a hem.
